Bears Den

The fine dining staple in Bearspaw is selling tickets for an evening of elegance, complete with a four-course meal and complimentary glass of bubbles for $125 per ticket.

The Johanna Sillanpaa Quartet will croon the crowd of diners with their “jazz-meets-groove” style.

Canadian Brewhouse

The black and white party revs up at 8 p.m., complete with a DJ, pizza buffet and jumbo-sized Jenga tournament. Tickets are $20 and be purchased at 403-351-0513 and party goers will be entered in a draw to win wings for a year.

Cumbrian Arms

The annual British New Year’s Eve event will begin in the afternoon with a ringing in of the New Year at 5 p.m. at the West Valley neighbourhood pub – as 5 p.m. MST equates to midnight in England.

Frosty pints and regular menu items will be served.

Ducks On The Roof

For those looking to quack in 2018, the busy sports pub will offer complimentary champagne and party favours for those looking to celebrate duck-style.

A DJ will kick off the sounds around 10 p.m. following the 7 p.m. Calgary Flames vs. Chicago Blackhawks game.

Dinner feature will be an eight-ounce New York steak with prawns and a starter salad for $20, with regular menu availability. Tickets are not required and there is no entrance fee.

Half Hitch Brewing Company

The party starts at 10 p.m. with a complimentary bevy, party favours, hors d’oeuvres and bubbly at midnight.

Reservations are recommended. Regular menu available before, for those who wish to dine and head home before the party kicks off.

A DJ and dancing will ring in 2018.

Killarney’s Pub

Entertainment favourite Rob Skeet will perform crowd favourites, in accompaniment to a three-course prime rib buffet meal.

Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino

The 1980s will be celebrated in full fashion at the Kananaskis casino.

Tickets are on for $42.95 for the prime rib, lobster and seafood buffet feast, including a complimentary beverage.

A live band in the Sidelines Lounge, DJ and 80s-themed fun will entertain players and spectators, with rooms available for rent in the hotel or complimentary shuttle services for Banff, Calgary and Cochrane. Plenty of prizes and big wins up for grabs.

Rockies Tavern & Grill

Bragg Creek’s newest bar will host the David Bradford Band, who will be crooning top 40 sounds. A selection of prime rib or organic chicken will be the fare du jour, along with a complimentary beverage.

Tickets are $30, with dinner service from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the band kicking out sounds by 9 p.m.

The Powderhorn Saloon (Bragg Creek)

New Year’s will be celebrated early this year at the Saloon.

With the Sunday consideration of New Year’s Eve, the Saloon party will be held on Friday, Dec. 29 with live band tunes beginning around 8 p.m. and no charge to get in the door.

On New Year’s Eve the bar will close in the evening.

The Venue Bar & Grill

The party is filled with music and laughter this New Year’s Eve at the Venue. Dinnertime vocalist Laurel and pianist Jimmy, will set the tone from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for the four-course prime rib and seafood fare.

Stand-up comedienne Lori Ferguson-Ford will get the raucous crowd going from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kelly T. and guests will croon the rockin’ blues to a dancing crowd.

Champagne and party favours will be complimentary for the midnight ring-in.

Tickets are $40 for dinner and entertainment with reserved seating. Those swinging in for the band after 9 p.m. can purchase tickets for $15. Call 587-362-4283 to purchase tickets.

Texas Gate

Tickets are $30 for the annual dinner and dance at the Gate. Appetizers galore will fill diners bellies, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Renton Band will top 40 country-rock sounds into the wee hours of the New Year, beginning at 10 p.m.
