With the writ officially dropped for the federal election, incumbent Blake Richards, the Conservative Party of Canada candidate, is kicking off his official campaign on Saturday with an open house.
The event, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 116 Centre Ave., will be followed by doorknocking until 7 p.m.
Richards' office said the open house is an opportunity to meet the campaign team, learn about the Conservative Vision and get involved.
There will also be light refreshments and a chance for supporters to pick up lawn signs.
