The singer/songwriter is described as a one-man band as he can replicate a full sound using a device that records his sound and plays it on a loop. According to his website, Woida is often compared to Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, and Jeff Buckley.

The idea for the concert came from residents Mike and Mel Gawryletz, whose nephew Lamont Murphy died suddenly in Summer 2015. They expressed the desire to provide youth for a place to explore their creativity somewhere within Cochrane.

The Heritage House Coffee Co. graciously volunteered their venue to host a youth night every Thursday. Youth are invited to use the location to network, explore, and plan activities.

The Gawryletzs also started the Cochrane Youth Arts Memorial Fund, which will help fund and support these youth activities.

Tickets for the concert are $10 for youth and $20 for adults. The show will start at 6:00 p.m.
