Cochrane & Area Humane Society staff were happy to receive more than $3,600 worth of food for its animals last Wednesday.
The food was donated by Pet Valu after a Thanks for Giving campaign ran last October. Thanks to the donation, the shelter received everything from puppy and kitten milk replacement to adult food.
“It’s a fantastic donation and will feed our shelter animals for over a month,” said Jaimie Anton, shelter’s fund development officer.
