The Jumping Pound Ridge Community Association is spending the next three days building the new community playground.
After fundraising for the past three years and receiving several grants, the community association accepted their last two donations earlier this year from Centrica for $2,000, and $10,000 from Scott Daniel Seaman Memorial Fund.
Now all the playground needs is volunteers to help build over the next couple days. The playground will be constructed Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
