Ghouls, ghosts and goblins look out...
Some 200 kids decked out in frighteningly fantastic Halloween costume are expected to fill the Cochrane RancheHouse Oct. 28 from 2-4 p.m.
“With the weather change, this might be a good way to celebrate Halloween...indoors,” said Jody Dicastri, with the town’s recreation department.
The theme is loosely-based on Tim Burton movies, thanks to the hard work of local artist, Emma Johnson, who has been diligently working on all the backdrops and props.
For $7.50, mini masked monsters will enjoy a 45 minute magic show, put on by Malcolm the Magician, who will be dressed as Morton the Ghoul, as well as a range of other entertainment — an art station with Jola Muran, balloon twisted and The Little Cake Shoppe of Horrors; tickets are available at the door or through town recreation department at 403-851-2534.
