RCMP looking for thieves

Cochrane RCMP are seeking assistance from the public to locate and identifying two males wanted in conjunction with a stolen vehicle and an attempt to steal property.

Cochrane RCMP are seeking assistance from the public to locate and identifying two males wanted in conjunction with a stolen vehicle and an attempt to steal property.

The suspects were last seen heading east toward Old Banff Coach Road, shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 31. A property owner near Edge School along Township Road 250 confronted the two males who were in possession of stolen property.

All stolen property was recovered at that time, with the exception of a vehicle the pair were seen leaving the scene in – a light green Subaru Legacy station wagon, bearing Alberta licence plate number BRV1917.

The vehicle was reported missing at 8 p.m. Dec. 30.

The driver has been described as a mid-40s Caucasian male with a shaved or baldhead, dark-framed rectangular eyeglasses and wearing a lumberjack style red and black flannel shirt.

No physical description of the other suspect is available.
