After raising $240 and collecting 413 pounds of food last year to support our veterans, the Cochrane resident who hosts his haunted house every Halloween night, Cochrane's Gary Robertson's Fright for Food Asylum Haunted House broke a record this year.

The asylum had three levels this year, ranking from least scary to scariest as you advance. The levels in order are: the Graveyard, the Laboratory and the Asylum.

"Everything is weighed up and I am pleased to say we set a new record at 525 pounds of food and hygiene supplies for the Veterans Association Food Bank," Robertson said of the evening.

"We had a great night on Halloween with 250-300 people coming through the event. I have included a few pictures of the night as well as a picture of all of the food. I will be taking it into the Veterans Association Food Bank later this week."
