To avoid a potentially ruined vacation due to a lack of maintenance on your holiday trailer or camper, Rick Bailey of Springbank Truck Repair reminds campers that an annual service can go a long way.

“There are six items that you need to have looked at every year,” said Bailey.

“The checklist includes conducting a propane gas leak test; ensuring all appliances are working; an exterior sealant check; adjusting the tire pressures; checking all wheel bearings; and de-winterizing and pressuring-up the water system to ensure no leaks.”

Bailey said this checklist should be ticked off each spring before getting your rig on the road. Following a particularly cold winter, negligence could lead to costly repairs and spoiled vacations.

Running until June 1, Springbank Truck Repair is offering a full spring check-up special for $175 plus tax.
