Stantec celebrated the company’s fourth annual Stantec in the Community Day by coming to Cochrane and helping out at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society last Wednesday.
The company sent 15 volunteers to Cochrane to walk dogs, sort donations and clean at the local shelter. Over 500 company employees volunteered throughout Calgary and the surrounding area, helping 25 organizations on Sept. 21.
“Charities and non-profits need our support now, more than ever,” said Arliss Szysky, Stantec regional leader for Alberta South.
“This is where we live, work and play and there is no better way to giving back engaging with the organizations that make a difference.”
