Airdrie-Cochrane MLA Pete Guthrie joined the line up to get his ‘do done by donation with all dollars going to fight kids cancer. All proceeds from haircuts at Sunset Styling Co this morning between 9-11 am, with a minimum $10 donation, went toward the cause.

Today (Saturday, July 6) from 9-11 a.m. all haircuts at Sunset Styling Co in Sunset Ridge were by donation, with proceeds going toward the fight against kids cancer.

Airdrie-Cochrane MLA Pete Guthrie stopped in to touch up his ‘do for the cause, which coincides today (Saturday, June 6) with the Sunset Stampede Breakfast in the busy Sunset commercial plaza.

“At the Sunset Stampede Breakfast, Sunset Styling Company offered complimentary haircuts while collecting donations for Evie Hooper, a young girl from Airdrie who is battling cancer,” said Guthrie.

“Thank you Kerrie-Lynn and staff for your generosity to such a good cause.”

The Sunset hair salon has been chipping in for Kids With Wigs since cutting 13” of Grade 4 Mia Moulder’s hair last month, who raised funds for 13-year-old Airdrie Evelyn ‘Evie’ Hooper’s plight with cancer.
