The Town of Cochrane’s economic development department announced that more support would become available for local innovators this year.
Staff will be working with business owners in Cochrane and local support agencies to ‘help knowledge-based businesses get out of the garage and into the world’.
The assistance would come in the form of advice, encouragement, strategic planning and creative partnerships.
“Great innovators with new ideas often need help putting other pieces of the puzzle into place to become successful,” said Robert Kalinovich, economic development officer for the town, in a recent press release.
“This local network provides the kind of encouragement and expertise that can make all the difference to someone trying to launch a new idea.”
