Town of Cochrane reports 10 active cases of COVID-19

The Town of Cochrane had a reported 10 active cases of the virus as of the end of the day Tuesday (Feb. 22). To date the town has identified 325 cases of COVID-19, this includes 313 people who have recovered and two people who have died.

COCHRANE— The number of active COVID-19 cases in Cochrane has dropped by one.

The Town of Cochrane had a reported 10 active cases of the virus as of the end of the day Tuesday (Feb. 22). To date, the town has identified 325 cases of COVID-19, this includes 313 people who have recovered and two people who have died.

In Alberta, 267 new cases of the virus were identified in the last 24 hours after the completion of about 6,300 tests.

The provincial testing positivity rate sits at 4.4 per cent.

There are 326 COVID-related hospitalizations in the province, including 51 people in intensive care.

The province reported 11 new COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours. To date, 1,853 Albertans have died.

To date, 180,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered across the province— This includes more than 73,000 people who have been immunized with two doses.

There are currently 4,516 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
