The town is uncertain of when they will be looking for a new senior manager of protective services, as of last week former manager Mac de Beaudrap is no longer employed by the town.
“The town’s fire chief David Humphrey will continue to lead the town’s fire services,” explained Laurie Drukier, senior communications adviser for the town.
“Through existing senior management roles, interim adjustments have been implemented to support all areas within the protective services portfolio.”
Over the course of seven years de Beaudrap worked for the town. He started as fire chief and director of emergency management before his promotion to his role as senior manager of protective services.
