The Cochrane Alliance Church will be hosting its annual Walk of the Cross event on Friday, Mar. 25, which is Good Friday.
Starting at the intersection of Centre Ave. and 1st Ave. West, by the Old Town Hall Site, attendees will march a cross to the cenotaph, where it will be erected.
Known as a highlight for the Christian community in Cochrane, the walk is in honour of Good Friday and Easter and celebrates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is a centerpiece of the Christian faith.
The procession will start at 10 a.m. so people are asked to arrive shortly before then. All are welcome to attend the event.
