On Saturday residents and guests are invited to five hours of family-friendly activities hosted by Cochrane and Area Events Society. With broomball, pony rides, bumper ball soccer, human curling, ice dragon boat races, hoop dances, local stage entertainment, a magician and frozen maple syrup sticks - to name a few, organizers will also be paying homage to Canada's 150th birthday with select activities and demonstrations.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The action-packed day is on Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mitford Park.
