The ever-popular Jake Hirsch Entertainment Group is coming back to Cochrane this month with another comedy show at Townhall Public House.
Part of Yuk Yuk’s Stand Up Comedy On Tour, the Sept. 25 show will see Lori Gibbs headlining with Lori Ferguson as well as several other comedians from the area.
Gibbs’ special Lori’s Comedy Now! airs regularly on The Comedy Network. She has been featured regularly on Laugh Out Loud and The Debaters, both of which appear on CBC Radio One.
She has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award and can be seen on CTV Morning Live and Global Morning News in Calgary doing Hot Glue Schtick, a mix of comedy and crafting.
Ferguson has been a professional stand-up comic for more than 20 years and was voted B.C.’s Funniest New Comic a few years after starting out, before winning B.C.’s Funniest Woman four years later. She has made television appearances on CTV, CBC, WTN and The Comedy Network.
