It's a bird ... it's a plane ... no, it's Cochrane track and field star Rachel Berscht!

The 22-year-old Berscht took home silver in high jump with a score of 1.70 metres at the Canada West Track and Field Championships on Feb. 23 at the University of Alberta. The medal win qualified her for the USports National Championships on March 7 to 9 in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba where she finished in eighth place out of 13 in her final USports competition of her career.

The medal at Canada West was the second year in a row Berscht won silver at Canada West, as she also won the medal at last year's event with a slightly lower jump of 1.65 metres.
