It’s that time of year again. The Cochrane Curling Club is ready to rock.

It’s our third season in the Spray Lakes Sawmills Family Sports Facility. We support both recreational and competitive curling.
There is a full slate of evening and daytime leagues, including juniors, seniors, sturling, mixed, men’s, women’s and mixed doubles. All leagues start in October. Leagues are filling fast; however there is still space available for teams and individuals. If you are interested in playing, call 403-932-2077 and leave a message or email the club at [email protected].

Interested in entering a bonspiel? Our bonspiel schedule is posted on the website. Registration for all bonspiels is open. Contact the respective chair(s) to register.

The ice is ready to go. Practice ice will be available to book. If you have never curled but are interested, try out a Learn to Curl Clinic. Contact Morgan Muise [email protected].

New this year: Our facility has a new look. SLSFSC will be running a licensed lounge facility to coordinate with the league curling schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. The lounge will be open to the public. Come and check us out. Watch some curling!
Also this year, we are pleased to announce that Chelsea Carey has accepted the role of Cochrane Curling Club Coordinator for the 2019-2020 season.
Carey is well known in the curling world.

She has represented Canada and Alberta as the 2016 and 2019 Canadian women's champion skip, was Alberta's Women's champion skip, and previously was the Manitoba Provincial Women's champion skip.

In addition to her love of the game, she brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing and administrative experience to the role. Carey will work in conjunction with the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre (SLSFSC) staff to grow the sport of curling in Cochrane. Carey’s office hours will be posted on our website: www.cochranecurlingclub.com.

Please join us in welcoming Carey to Cochrane and to our club.
