Midget Timberwolves blast Rockets

Matthew Kaczur and Bradley Bergshoeff scored two goals each to lead the Bow Valley Timberwolves to a 7-1 South Central Alberta Hockey League midget AA win over the Lacombe Rockets Oct. 26 in Lacombe. Levi Barker had a goal and two helpers for the T-wolves with Slater Ramson and Marshall Van Iderstine adding singles. Ryan Ternes made 24 saves for the win.

The midget Timberwolves host the Cranbrook Knights on Nov. 1 at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, 7 p.m. puck drop.

Ethan Strang had a goal and three assists as the Bow Valley Timberwolves defeated the visiting Sylvan Lake Lakers 10-3 in South Central Alberta Hockey League peewee AA play Oct. 27 at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre. Kyle Crosbie added two goals and three assists, with Justin Turko scoring twice and Connor Bouchard adding a goal and three assists. Kash Rasmussen had a goal and an assist and Antoine Leclerc turned aside 32 shots in the T-wolves net.
