Provincial ringette tourney in town

The top ringette teams from across Alberta are in town March 21-23 for the provincial U12A ringette championships. The Cochrane Rockies are hosting teams from Calgary, Edmonton and area, Lacombe and Red Deer.

The top ringette teams from across Alberta are in town March 21-23 for the provincial U12A ringette championships.

The Cochrane Rockies are hosting teams from Calgary, Edmonton and area, Lacombe and Red Deer.

The tournament will be played at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, with the first game scheduled for March 21.

If you want to catch the local team in action against the province’s best teams, the Rockies play March 21, 7:15 p.m. and March 22, 8 a.m.

There will be tables loaded with prizes, provided by local sponsors, being raffled off over the course of the tournament.
