Walker, Snith help Canada win World Cup luge team relay bronze

Walker and Snith, along with Luge Canada teammates Sam Edney and Alex Gough, took bronze in the World Cup luge team relay event Jan. 4 in Konigssee, Germany. In team relay, each sled (men’s, women’s, doubles) takes one run, with the total time of all sleds combined for the finish time. Canada finished the team relay in Konigssee with a time of two minutes, 46.394 seconds. Germany won gold, Team USA silver.

The bronze for Walker and Snith follows a World Cup luge doubles bronze performance Dec. 12 on their home track at WinSport’s sliding track in Calgary.
