QMJHL Roundup: Dumais, Boucher's stellar efforts lead Mooseheads to blowout win

HALIFAX — Jordan Dumais recorded three goals and three assists, Evan Boucher added three goals and two assists as the Halifax Mooseheads rolled past the Saint John Sea Dogs 9-4 on Friday.

Brody Fournier, Reece Peitzsche and Stephane Jr Huard notched the others for Halifax (12-5-2-1). Mathis Rousseau made 28 saves.

Brady Burns had two goals. Cam MacDonald and Sam-Luca Thifault replied for Saint John (5-12-0-1). Nikolas Hurtubise kicked out 28-of-37 shots before making way for Ventsislav Shingarov, who made one save.

Entering the third period up 5-4, the Mooseheads blew the game open scoring four unanswered goals. Boucher scored two of his three, while Dumais completed his hat trick with his league-leading 19th goal on the season. Peitzsche netted the final marker.
