QMJHL roundup: Warren nets shutout as Wildcats crush Sea Dogs 7-0

MONCTON, N.B. — Keegan Warren earned a 38-save shutout as the Moncton Wildcats routed the Saint John Sea Dogs 7-0 on Sunday in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action.

Julius Sumpf scored twice for the Wildcats (28-13-3-3), while Riley Sampson, Ales Zielinski, Preston Lounsbury, Olivier Boutin and Yoan Loshing also chipped in.

Goaltender Patrick Leaver stopped 42 shots for the Sea Dogs (16-27-3-3).

The Wildcats went 2-for-3 on the power play and the Sea Dogs had no man advantages.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Eliot Litalien and Vincent Desjardins had two goals apiece as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada doubled Rimouski Oceanic.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Mavrick Lachance struck twice as the Sherbrooke Phoenix topped Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
