KABATOFF, Walter
1947 – 2022
Walter Kabatoff passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022 at the Agecare Skypointe Hospice in Calgary, AB, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer (glioblastoma). He was 75. He was born on June 2, 1947, in Grand Forks, BC, where he graduated high school before going to vocational school and working in construction. He loved his work, and so did what he loved right until the very end. Walter is survived by his two sons, Troy and Chad, as well as his three grand-children, Kohl, Karina, and Violette. He did not want a funeral, but there will be a private celebration of life in spring 2023 for family and close friends. Donations to causes are not requested, instead, please live a good life with no regrets and make the best mark on the world you can. This is what he wanted.
