Heather Pearce (nee Teed), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the age of 89 years, just shy of her 90th birthday.
Heather was born in Dawlish, England. She trained in London, England to become a Nurse, and it was there that she met the love of her life. She married Dr. Keith Pearce in 1954 and then immigrated to Canada in 1957. She remained happy and full of life even after losing her husband of 58 years in 2013, as well as facing months of Covid lock-down in 2020.
Heather Pearce is remembered, and dearly missed by her loving children, John (Anne), Jane (Roger), Susan (Sotiris), and Mary (Dale); her nine grandchildren, Lia (Doug), Christine (Carey), Nick (Aaron), Robert, Laura, Chris (Ryan), Anna (Ty), Adrian (Natalie), and Sarah (Kyle); her six great-grandchildren, Juliette, Lilli, Elliot, Piper, Sotiris, and Jasper. Heather is also survived by her sister Ann, and her special friend Colin.
In lieu of Funeral Services, a quiet family gathering will be held in honor of Heather Pearce.
