Jennifer was born in Vancouver, British Columbia the 15th of December 1966. Although Jennifer had a few rough patches along her life she was most proud of her marriage to Gordon Shier, on the 21st of August 1999 and becoming a mom to her son Dylan Shier, the 7th of May 2002.
Jennifer worked for the Safeway Gas Bar as a cashier and eventually working her way up to Manager from June 2003 to March 2022. Jennifer’s closest friends from her years at Safeway were her second family. Jennifer was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Jennifer had such a caring demeanor, kind heart, a great sense of humour, infectious laugh, and smile. Jennifer was a great listener, a competitive card player and a loyal Flames fan.
Besides her loving husband Gord, and son Dylan, Jennifer is survived by her loving parents, Linda and Andy Poustie. Her stepdaughter Debbie Crawford, son-in-law Jason Crawford, her grandchildren Kayla Elenbaas, Julien Crawford, Bryce Crawford, Spencer Crawford, and great-granddaughter Melody Elenbaas.
