Bergeron's playoff performance for Bruins impressive

Alright, so I was off on my National Hockey League playoff predictions. But my hat goes off to Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron for playing through a broken rib, punctured lung and more.

Although he did not make a big difference in the outcome of the decisive Game 6 in the Stanley Cup final, it still is amazing how he did what he did.

The only other thing I have to talk about regarding hockey is the Tyler Seguin trade and the Bobby Ryan trade.

First off, I would like to say what Seguin did is a complete joke. I mean, come on. You wear the same clothes to team meetings for three, sometimes five days in a row? Kids in Kindergarten do that.

Then, staying up partying until 3 a.m. when you have a game to play the next day? Regardless of your profession, that is unacceptable. I mean, he is a young kid living lots of people’s dreams. But show some respect to your team, yourself and the people who look up to you.

And all of this affected who he was on the ice.

One of the big names Boston got from the Dallas Stars was Loui Eriksson. Any day I would pick Eriksson over Seguin, so Boston got rid of a cancer and got a gem.

And then the Ottawa Senators got Bobby Ryan for a couple of good, up-and-coming players and a draft pick.

Ottawa won this by far. They got a player who is elite and will score 30+ goals each season. The Anaheim Ducks did not get close to that in return.

Now I’m going to talk about the British Open. Phil Mickelson won the Scottish Open 11 days ago, so he had an idea of what it takes to play links golf.

But the favourite was Tiger Woods.

I did not know who would win this golf tournament, Phil or Tiger. But I was kind of leaning towards Tiger.

This golf course ripped apart players all week. But Phil came back and shot his way to victory by shooting a 5-under 66 on Sunday.

Winning the Open for the first time, Phil has now won three of four majors, The Masters, The PGA Championship, and The Open.
