The Seniors Drop In Centre remains open with full programs and activities until Dec. 23 when it closes for the Christmas break and reopens Jan. 2.
A November highlight is the Fraud Prevention Seminar Nov. 21 from 1-2 p.m.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to avoid becoming a victim of current scams in the Cochrane area. Speakers are Bill Zuck from Citizens on Patrol and a local RCMP officer.
On Nov. 15 at 12:30 p.m., the monthly hot lunch happens. Entrée choices are hamburger soup or chicken stew, along with salad and dessert, all for $6 per person.
Pub Fun Friday is a go for Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. with a cash bar, games of your choice, fun and fellowship.
The book club meets Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. Reunion in Barsoloi, sequel to The White Masai, will be discussed along with books of members’ own choice.
Rosebud Theatre’s Christmas show It’s a Wonderful Life is booked for Nov. 27; $85 pays for transportation, meal and show.

The annual Christmas dinner is planned for Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. Price remains steady at $25 per person. This is a very popular event, sign up early to assure your place at the table.
The Annual Christmas Craft Sale happens Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Craft tables are rented for $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
