The Banff-Cochrane PC constituency is hosting a golf tournament Sept. 16 to raise money for flood relief.
It’s at Silvertip in Canmore and just playing that course is worth the price of admission.

Sept. 14 will see a fun tournament at the Sundre Golf Course featuring a left-hander known to many Cochrane folk.
Dave Rands was the golf pro at the Cochrane nine-hole course for a few years and made many friends.
He’ll be at the Sundre tournament, so a lefty should win it.

Everything was perfect from the weather to the entries, and what a great crowd.
A tip of the golf cap to organizers and participants — you made us all very proud.
Speaking of proud, thanks to town staff for the incredible display of flowers at various locations around town.
The intersection by the Rocky View Hotel is just amazing with the flowers. A job well done.

A watch was lost at the Activettes Labour Day breakfast at NorthStar Ford.
You can claim the watch by simply identifying it with Carrie at our front office.
Keep in mind, Carrie has obtained a black belt in BS-detection since she started here at the mighty Cochrane Eagle.
