Cochrane RCMP respond to second report of child luring in four days

Mounties are investigating a report of an attempted child luring that occurred in the area of Carolina Crescent earlier today

Cochrane RCMP are investigating another report of an attempted child luring in the community.

On June 2 around 3:40 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious male approaching two youths. The man attempted to lure the youths into a van, but the youths were able to get away to seek help from a parent. 

The male, described as having light coloured skin, orange/red hair with a beard and being between the ages of 40 to 50-years old, was seen driving a white panel van on Carolina Crescent.

The report comes about four days after the last complaint, which occurred in the area of Sunset Park and Sunset Way.
