Edward James Jenson of Cochrane, AB, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the age of 83 years.
Edward was born in Gull Lake, SK, on October 4, 1936. He lived most of his adult life in Lloydminster where he was a businessman, pilot and tree farmer. Edward married Fern in 1967. They lived on acreage outside of Lloydminster, where they had a tree farm and raised their two children, Jodi and Jory. He moved to Cochrane in 2008 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Besides his loving wife Fern, Ed is survived by his daughter Jodi (Ryan) Labrie of Calgary, AB, his son Jory (Shelley) Jenson of Bragg Creek, AB; six grandchildren, Mason, Nicholas, Emerson, Seth, Sage and Charleigh; and two step-grandchildren, Callen and Kya. Ed is also survived by his brother Delbert (Mavis) Jenson, as well as his niece and nephew, Janet Black and Wallace Hollingshead. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Tory and Ruth; and his younger brother Clint.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at Cochrane Cemetery.
