We all have a role to play, Dr. Deena Hinshaw said, and that means even close family members no longer eating from the same bowl of popcorn.

Local musician Lucas Chaisson is looking to do his part during the COVID-19 outbreak, by putting on a live performance through Facebook to entertain his fans and the people of Cochrane that will take place tonight at 8 p.m.

"It’ll be an honour to do so again," Daniel exclaimed. "It’s pretty surreal racing when you know you have so many people back home supporting you. That feeling will continue to drive me as I continue to push towards my next games, whenever it may be."

Hinshaw said the province has updated the self-isolation timeline for those who are sick. Anyone who is sick is being asked now to self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of symptoms, rather than the previous 14 days.

“... when you come into the country ... you must go directly and immediately to your home without stopping."
