Cochrane is becoming quite the music hub and Mr. Mike's is joining the fray with Marcus Steiner se to perform at the restaurant on May 2. "MR MIKES is excited about our recent step to support live music.

The Cochrane Camera Club will be hosting its bi-annual photo show and sale May 4 at the Cochrane Alliance Church. The Camera Club hosted its first show and sale in November of this year and plan to continue to host them bi-annually.

The Backroad Traveler Band has found the road less travelled to the Town of Cochrane and the Venue Bar and Grill where they will be performing on April 19 and 20.

The Hub Cafe & Wine in Sunset Ridge continues to put on the talent, with a spring concert series put on by Active Light Productions and kicking off with the stripped down soulful sounds of Calgary songstress Shaye Zadravec on the evening of April

Chinook Film Group is continuing its spring season with the showing of Man Running on April 17 at 7 p.m. at the Cochrane Movie House.

The formerly known Cochrane Visions Theatre has an entirely new look after the group rebranded itself as the Take a Bow Community Theatre Society and will present its spring play of The Mousetrap May 3 through until the 12.

Cochrane High School (CHS) will be hosting the One Act Play Festival for Alberta’s Zone 5 schools from April 11 to 13. The Zone 5 festival will feature seven schools from Rocky View Schools, as well as private and charter schools in the area.
