Cochrane RCMP are investigating a break and enter spree A Storage Company Inc. last week. Thieves broke into 18 RV trailers at A Storage Company Inc., located off of the Trans-Canada Highway beside Calaway Park.

Cpl. Eddy Picher (Ret.) will be remembered as hardworking man of God who was devoted to serving his country. Picher died on March 18, 2016, in Victoria, BC, he was 79. Born on Dec. 20, 1936, Eddy was one of eight children born to Rose and Mose Piche.

A new night market is coming to Cochrane's historical downtown. Cochrane Farmers' Market volunteers will be working with historical downtown business owners to kick off a monthly evening street market, starting June 16.

The Beaupre Community Hall will be hosting its annual Flea Market/Garage Sale on May 21. Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the free event will feature a mix of products and used items for sale from local vendors and residents.
